Not a usual topic I write on, but this caused me a fair amount of grief Friday night!

After applying the 1.40 patch on 2142 last week I suddenly found that the game keep freezing at about the 60% mark when trying to join a server. Or alternatively the map would load and freeze within 5 seconds of trying to play! I tried various servers and maps and I could find no common cause.

After much searching I found that deleting the radial.cdb file resolves this problem.

Just thought I’d make a note of the fix for next time;)
